VPN Setup for Windows XP


  1. Open the Control Panel

  2. Double click "Network Connections"

  3. Click on "Create a new connection"

  4. Click on "Next"

  5. Click on "Connect to the network at my workplace", then click "Next"

  6. Click "Virtual Private Network connectio", then click "Next"

  7. Type on the "Company Name" a meanfull name for the VPN conection, then click "Next"

  8. Type on the "Host name or IP Address" the IP address of your office, then click "Next"

  9. Optional: click "Add a shortcut to this connection on my desktop", then click "Next"

  10. Type on the "User name" your user name, then on the "Password" field your password. If you will like to do not type the password on every connection, tick the "Save this username and password for the following user", then click "Connect"
